1,500 new trees planted
Tropical forests are considered the main tourist attraction of the Philippines, as well as being a pillar for promoting sustainable development. Despite this, massive deforestation has destroyed much of the country's green areas in the past. Efforts have been ineffective in halting the assault on these resources, carried out to collect firewood, produce charcoal, and expand areas for agriculture.
Aware of the importance of protecting these forests, Menarini Philippines has contributed to the project to plant new trees in collaboration with the Office of Forest Management which supported them in choosing the optimal location. A total of 1.500 seedlings have been planted, destined to reinforce one of the richest and most fascinating ecosystems in the world.
