East Coast Park, a beach to take care of

East Coast Park is one of Singapore's most popular places to relax. A wide beach not far from the city centre with swaying coconut palms, it frequently hosts parties and picnics together with its offer of restaurants and entertainment. However, this luxuriant island of peace is not immune from environmental pollution problems.

The Menarini Singapore employees had the chance to see with their own eyes the negative effects that rubbish thrown into the sea has on our ecosystem and, in a full immersion of voluntary work, they dedicated their energies to cleaning up the beach. The result of two hours of collection was over 100 kilos of waste, which was then transported to a landfill.
