A guide dog for independence
For the visually impaired, independence is a challenging milestone to achieve. Being able to count on a four-legged guide is essential for many of them in getting out and about in their daily lives. The blind and visually impaired in Greece can get in touch with the Lara Guide Dog School for the Blind.
Menarini Hellas sponsors the work of this non-profit organisation, aimed at improving the daily life and independence of its users and promoting the guide dogs movement around the country. In addition to providing specially trained dogs free-of-charge, the organisation also focuses on spreading information and raising awareness of the needs of the visually impaired to the general public and institutions.
