Dining Scholarship Project, everyone in the canteen

The school canteen is not just a catering service, but a “space” for guaranteeing the fundamental rights of children, namely education and food. This is the value underpinning the Dining Scholarship Project, launched in Spain by the NGO Educo and supported by the Menarini Group, with the aim of providing what have come to be known as “becas comedores”, or canteen scholarships: a meal a day for children at risk of social exclusion.

With the contribution of Menarini Spain, a total of 8.300 meals have been provided for 47 boys and girls from all over the country for one year. A gift with a double meaning. Educo's catering grants not only guarantee a healthy and balanced diet for children from families with economic difficulties, but they are also an important factor for promoting integration with peers and, consequently, for improving school performance.

Moreover, we will never ask you for money in exchange for employment opportunities or other similar services. Any such offer of employment or any other service in exchange for fees that claims to be from us is deceitful and part of a fraud.

Criminal and/or civil liabilities may arise from such actions and we intend to cooperate with competent law enforcement agencies.
